In Roger Williams Park in Providence R.I. lives this beautiful oak and on every trip I try to pay a visit to the park and the tree, last winter I was so lucky, as I was setting my gear, here comes father and daughter with their sled, so I was able add more winter spirit to it. Freeeeeezing weather Minus 8 Fahrenheit (minus 22 Celsius) last December 30th on the way to Woodstock in Vermont we came across this beautiful winter scene, almost froze trying to take a good photo, not a weather for men, horses or any other living species.

Cold River, could not be a more appropriate name for it, this river runs parallel to the Mohawk trail, in Charlemont, at the very north west of Massachusetts, it is not an overstatement to say that it was freezing cold, but very beautiful and with a wild defiant look.
