We arrived in late afternoon at Emerald Lake, a bit disappointed as we had seen yet no snow in the mountains. and here we are with these gorgeous emerald waters, pine forests and imposing mountains, black clouds where covering the sky announcing an approaching storm but bits of blue sky where illuminating patches of gold here and there, I rushed to photograph. Emerald Lake Photograph “Neverland’s lake” was taken late afternoon, that night we stayed at Emerald Lake Lodge, that I amply recommend, as the restaurant is tops and the cabins comfortable, with a superb view to the lake. When we woke up next morning everything was white, it had snowed all night and we were presented with this utterly beautiful view.
Sunset at the everglades in Autumn, well we don’t have really autumn in Florida, but a rainy season that ends in October, at this time of the year and at sunset when you look at the expansion of the savanna, it’s the same sensation as looking at the open sea, and want to set sail.
